I’m currently detailing my 96’s engine compartment. I wanted to see if anyone can suggest a detailer that will not add a sheen or a greasy look to the under-portion of the clamshell hood, this would be the area that is painted a flat/matt black.

I’m looking for something that would show well at a Corvette show and not take away from a “as delivered look.” If you have any recommendations, I’d appreciate it.

Thank you!

I like 303 Aerospace Protectant and find it gives everything that "sheen" rather than slick shine. I don't know of any product that gives a flat, matte, out-of-the-factory look.

I used this on the exterior & under side of my 96's clam-shell.

GS Diva and 6 Shooter, thanks!

I wasn’t sure what products to start out with! Thanks for pointing me in a direction.
