different big block hoods?

1969 Fathom Green 427 4 speed coupe
Ive been noticing in my hunt for a big block vette that there are what appears to be 2 types of hoods for the big blocks (1968-1972). I still consider myself a newbie in this regard so I finally dug up 2 pictures of what Im confused on. I added the year just for reference, it does seem that most of my searches come up with the hood type shown on this 1968 vette.

Are these both factory hoods?
Does one type denote a tri-power engine?

That is interesting. If I click on the link it doesnt work for me either.
What does work, drag the link up to your address bar that should get it to work.
Must be something in the address that is conflicting with the board code here.

edit-I am betting its the underline that is the address.
 
The hood in the second picture is a cowl induction hood used on L88 and ZL1 engines.
 
First pic is the BB/LT1 type hood used on the 68-72 models. 68 and 69 tri-power engines used this hood. Second pic is the L-88 style hood.
