The digital cluster goes on and off and the odometer does not work all the time.Does anyone have any suggestions?

Couple of questions

1. When the display goes off, does the turn signals (Both) go bright?
2. Does the odometer stop working when the dash is off (May be hard to tell)
3. Can you still see the displays working, just no back light?
4. Has there been any modification to this display that you are aware of?
5. What color is the corvette (Just kidding):L

The turn signals do not get bright. The odometer will work and not work. The display does not work when the display is off. There has not ben any thing done to the display. Thanks for your response.

I believe it is a ground problem

If you have not done this yet, you will have to...

There is alternative solutions, such as grounding a sensor that is in the footwell.

If you hit the above link, you may think this is a difficult procedure. Just take your time and I believe you will be happy with the results. This in the long run will make your dash perform the way it came from the factory.
