I recently bought a fuel pressure guage to check the fuel pressure on my 1992 lt-1 coupe. with 150000 miles all the plastic and rubber lines are original and brittle, so I promptly broke a line which I assume is a vacuum line. it is right next to the fuel plenum. there are two lines and after searching every magazine and catalog I could find I think I may have broken a diverter valve connector line. anyone have info on this?

I don't know that part but I assume it's a standard fitting. Check your local auto parts or hardware stores, they likely have something that would work.

If you broke a vacuum line on the same side of the intake manifold as the schrader valve for checking fuel pressure it is more likely for the fuel pressure regulator or the AC/cruise control.
Simply cut and replace the broken section with a length of rubber vacuum hose available at any parts story. (take a piece of the broken line with you so you get the correct size)

thanks guys for the info. I read that that diverter had something to do with the a/c door operation. it"s a tiny piece if hose that goes to a "t" connecter and it broke a the plastic "t" part. probably costs 50 cents but nowdays $10.00. thanks again, would have included a very clear picture of the area but didn't know how. BTW, pressure guage is a very good investment but a little difficult to connect to Schrader valve

Check either your local auto parts or some hardware stores. I bought a box of various size fittings for probably $5 or around that the other year.
