Distributor replacement

:L Winter has not been kind to my car. My parts guy will make it right. I have been buying stuff from him for 30 yrs. He's going to look at the pads I put on 1 1/2 yrs. ago and see if he can make any adjustments to my bill. I am not sure if I should have any complaints about a pad falling off a rusted backing plate, but it seems like I just replaced these last year. The rest of the suspension doesn't look like it is taking kindly to the salt.
Enjoy the weather, I know I am looking forward to a break.

Pete, The car ran great after timing it. Took it out for about 35 minutes....god it felt good!! The shop that does the repairs on the 70 vehicles in our fleet put a set of pads on my winter car (Mercury) I had last year. About two months after I pulled out of my garage one morning.. and when I got out to go back in the house I noticed one of my pads fell off on the garage floor. Fell right off the backing plate. Drove the car to the shop and they replaced it at no charge. It was last year in January. They said every once in a while it happens...no charge...Have a great weekend!!

I see you are in East Lake. My Cousins lived in Willowick about a half block from the lake when I was growing up.
I remember the whole neighborhood was full of fireflies in the summertime. They later moved to Chagrin Falls, and my brother lived in Sagamore falls until last year.

Wow...stranger by the minute. I was born an raised in Chagrin Falls and work about a minute from Sagamore Hills. Willowick is about 5 minutes from me and we live about a minute from the lake! We are about the same age....I am 47 and lived in Chagrin falls until I was 18

Oh, and my brake parts were free today. Complete refund for the defective pads and both rotors. What a great parts dealer!
