Quick easy question....which way does the rotor turn? clockwise, counter-clockwise? thnx

I do believe it turns clockwise...

Pull the cap, spin the starter, and watch the rotor.

It fires 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. find the #5 plug wire, then the #7 plug wire. See where they plug into the distributor. The rotor will turn from the #5 to the #7 wire.

Looking down at the distributor, it rotates clockwise.
