Looks like the old design for the SC Vettes before they changed to the C16ish hood.

No, this is one of the ZR1/Blue Devil/SS/Whatever else people have been calling it Corvettes. :cool

ZR1? you mean Z06...

I agree, looks like a Z06 that two guys are out having some fun in - a little duct tape and funky stripes and we can drive the media CRAZY! :W

I doubt the "real" bad-boy Corvette would be out in public - especially with that many onlookers ;shrug

IF that is the new ZR1 those are some SICK looking wheels! Very BMW M5'esq. I like it.

Im sure thats not a Callaway hood tho...I asked a certain member of Callaway Cars if they had any involvement in the development of the new car and I was assured there was no partnership....but there would be an answer for the horsepower levels :D

Here are some more pics. Very interesting. I haven't been following this ZR1 debacle very closely, but I find it weird that GM seems to have so many different "test" vehicles for this project. Seems like I've seen at least 5 different colors over the year.

I like the wheels too. My (apparent) inability to like the color yellow is affecting my taste on this though. Perhaps they should repaint it jet stream blue... :)

Looks similar to the Callaway hood to me!

I think youre gonna find it very different compared to the Callaway hood when the production piece comes out.

It has a clear lexan section so you can see thru the hood and see the blower. ;)

Thats what the tape is covering

Wow. Didn't see that pic! That's going to be neat to see hit production!

While I do find it better that Tom Wallace (Corvette VLE) is beside that car at the track, I still am finding it about as believable as your avatar, Surf. ;LOL

:L avatar makes me smile :D RE: the hood.....Its actually been pretty widely reported being see thru. We'll see when it hits production. :beer

I don't know why they'd make it see-through. The top of that engine looks like the bottom of most...

Maybe he means it looks like an oil pan. :ugh

I think its disguised at this point. Im sure the final product will look different....tho no where near as cool looking at the B2k or ZR1 :D
