How do you get to the screw behind the lock liver so the door panel can be removed?
1994 coupe.

The last time I did this, I was able to pull the door lock slide bar out far enough to slip a bent screw driver between the lock slide bar and the rod it's stuck on to pry them apart.

I thought more than once that I was going to break the damn thing.

I hope there is a better way to do it.

Thats abut the way I did it also, but with my fingers crossed.
Thanks for the reply!!

Paul

Not sure if the 1994 is the same (or at least similar) to my 1990, but in my case, the plastic piece on the lock rod is designed to slip off, so I just slide it toward the front of the car, then lightly pry the front-most edge toward the inside of the car, and the little tangs built into the plastic let go and the piece pops right off. After removing the screw and working on the door, just do the reverse and pop the plastic piece back on the metal rod and you're all set. Tim
