My door panel on drivers side is in need of a touch up it has developed some cracks on top by the edge of the window. I also have a pice about 1/8" x 1.00" that fell off the panel in the same location. Is there anything that I can apply such as a liquid epoxy to cover it and then repaint it. I just dont want to spend over $200 for a new panel.
If you guys have any ideas to patch this up let me know.

Thanks
Daniel

Thanks, but my problem is on the inside of the car not the fiberglass. Its the vinyl portion of the door panel. I guess with time and sun it has gotten brittle.

There is a company the advertises in Hemmings called Just Dashes. You can also find them at www.justdashes.com. They repair all sorts of vinyl interior parts despite their name. I don't know what they charge for their services, but they may be worth a call if you want to keep your original door panel. By the way, I am not affiliated with them in any way.

what a great idea.. I will try that and see how that will work. Because the area is not that large I think I can do that.

Thanks again

Daniel

I know you dont want to hear this but,the best fix is buying new door panels.Theres really no substitute. You can patch things up each time they break but in the end youll just have a vette thats been patched up,spend the money, get some new ones.
