I used a 35 watt soldering iron with a chisel tip and melted the cracks back together. I started by holding it so I could almost close the crack till you could not see it , then start placing X's over the top of the crack holding the iron 90 degrees in relation to the panel. Then hold the iron at 45 degrees and slide it across the top of the X's smoothing it out. Tightned the panel right back to where it was and no more falling off the door at the top.
