Can anyone tell me the fluid capacity for the overdrive when changeing the fluid and filter ?

There is no set amount of fluid, you simply fill to where it starts flowing back out of the fill hole.

Thanks Ken your help is great. I also found a better way to get lugs off when you have lost your key, instead of buying some cheap sockets you can use A impact socket, they dont break. I had all 4 wheels off in 10 min. thanks again .

When I purchased my 86 with a 4+3
I pulled the plug and added a small amount of OD fluid. The first time that I took it to a road race track for some hot laps, the OD unit got hot and overflowed. The overflow (vent) tube is located by the distributor, that makes it real fun to try and figure out what is leaking. When I started racing the car, I changed to synthetic ATF, end of problem.
