Driver's window cocks forward as it closes.

My driver's side window cocks forward just as it tops out when rolling up, preventing the window from sealing on the back weather strip. Then, when you lean on the loud pedal, it starts howling like a banshee. When you wash it, it floods in. And it is a lot noisier when the window doesn't seal right by your left ear. How big a job is it to fix this puppy? If I have to take the door completely apart, I guess now's the time for a faster/better window motor too, eh? Mine is pretty slow, and noticeably slower than the passenger side. Hey, can I add extra insulation while I'm at it? Man, does that door rattle when you close it! So, where do I buy all this stuff if I have to take the door apart?

There's a clamp on the bottom of the window that has come loose. Take the door panel off and you can access it thru a large hole in the metal panel. It's an easy fix...had to do the same on mine...just be sure you put the window up and down and check for fit before putting the outer panel back on.....hope this helps....:Steer

Can I jump on this window thread? My driver window tips in (towards the center of the car) a little too much when in full up position. It's digging a hole in the weather strip. Is there an adjustment for how much it tips in?

There's also a slight loose rattle sound when you close it.

Thanks!

I can send you a couple of scans for window adjustments for a 95 which shud be the same. Let me know if you would like them? roman67844@cs.com
