Spent 22 hours in the C6 this last week and had great weather but hit light rain for the last 200 miles. Missed having the rain tires on but the EMTs came through fine.
The reason I'm posting this is I saw a grand total of 3 Corvette on the road in all that travel. Why do we own these great driving machines and leave them in the garage? Of course there were plenty of bikes and more street rods than I could count but no Corvettes. Since I was around Gattlenburg TN. I would expect some rods but never expected to see so few Corvettes.
I plan to replace the C6 with a C7 and could well have 50,000 miles on it by the time the new one gets here and will have enjoyed every one of those miles. There would be even more but I try to max out the allowed miles on the '64 and '72 each year.
My question is, "What is your excuse?" Of course there are good reasons also, so if you would, share them? :confused
