Duplicate key?

I got my duplicate key at Sears for $24 in Lakewood Co. They had the key with a chip, put it in there machine, read the chip and cut the key. Did this for both my 02 and my 94. I found my extra C5 FOB on E-Bay from a dealer on Fountain Arizona. You should not have to spend a lot of $ for these extras.

I agree.

A lot of people are under the assumption that these things are "dealer only" purchases or that the dealer has to be involved in some way. The fact that it is a simple as I have previously posted sounds too good to be true, but folks it is that simple. No fancy equipment needed. I told one guy to go into a Radio Shack and ask to demo a multimeter so he could get his chip value. He read his key right there (only takes a second) and was out the door without even buying the thing.

Yea he was a cheap skate but hey, he didn't need a multimeter for anything else.

Well looky, looky what came in the mail yesterday...!

As you saw in my earlier post, they were $19.95 for a matching set of fobs (both 1 & 2). Took me 3 minutes to program them both, and that's because I had to read my instructions.

It makes absolutely no sense to pay much more than this for some fobs. I now have 4 fobs and 3 keys for my car.
