DYMAGS - different styles, part II

I was wondering if anyone has a set of DYMAGS on their Callaway that are like these - they have a "recession" to pop the center cap off...

I love the wheels on that ZR-1. I remember the good 'ole days when Mid-America used to sell them in their catalogue. If I knew it was going to be next to impossible to obtain a set today, I would have bought back then

Im just wondering if the same mold was used for all these wheels. Mine don't have the indentation. We've also seen the ones that have the small screws in the spoke.

Seems like we shouldn't have such a hard time getting these wheels with all the different styles floating around.

Yes Surf - the ones used in the 88 Promo materials - small screws into the center of the spokes (one screw in each spoke face)

O.K. Here is the count so far ...

CALLAWAY 16" Dymag
CALLAWAY 17" Dymag in silver or white
CALLAWAY 17" Dymag w/ indent for ctr. cap
CALLAWAY 17" Dymag w/ screw(s) in the spoke(s)

"Challenge" 17" Dymag w/ "Corvette" embossed into spoke -17x9.5 & 17x11's
17x9.5 & 17x11 Dymag w/ open lugs (Sold by Mid America, Exotic Muscle, etc. )

89x2,is there any way you could get a close up shot of them CALLAWAY ZR1 wheels.My 91 ZR1 is all stock and i plan on keeping it that way ,but those wheels look awesome on a ZR1......THANKS JERRY...BTW you do a great job with the CALLAWAY FORUM,as does ROB with the entire CAC.

The only one I can think of is that the "Challenge" Dymag comes in both 9.5 and 11 inch widths.

Steve - I have seen these with a polished lip, painted silver and in the finish shown - which is a "natural" finish (like the wheel above, on top of the television)

The only way I've seen the 16" Dymags is in black. I don't have the magazine issue handy but one of the early early early Callaways that was tested with those wheels had the very outer lip of the wheel polished. The rest of the wheel was black.

I think I have the only CR-1 with Dymags(no recess) 17x9.5 & 17x11 because Dymag quality control was getting bad at the time,so Callaway went with OZ.**Any other CR-1 out there with Dymags??
