Dynomax headers and the smog system

Can I simply switch out my stock manifolds with dynomax headers (full length, ceramic coated) without any problems on my 81? What affect will it have on the smog equipment/computer? Will my "check engine" light constantly light up or what?

I'm definately going with a dual 2 1/2" pipes, H-pipe, no cat, and flowmasters....just debating on the headers. :confused

if you are keeping your computer controlled carb, just make sure you have an O2 port on teh headers. If they don't have one, you can have one made in the collector.

if you are dumping the computer controlled stuff, then it doesn't matter
