I bought an 85 vette on ebay for $4300. I found in place of the passenger side impact resistor, is a glove box, not just a flat panel. And in this glove box I found a gold plate stuck to the inside of the glove box that reads sonics drive -in rally? Does anybody know what it is and has anybody been in it?

We have Sonics (drive in restaurant, burgers & fries/onion rings) all over here in the Midwest (I can't speak for the rest of the country). Many have cruise-ins and they are a gathering place for many hot-rodders/car enthusiasts. I know at least one that has a "get together" nearly every Friday night during late spring/summer/early fall, and several sponsor a "bigger show" at least once during the summer.
