Buyer Beware...won a carb tag from this guy, in a fair auction bid of $10.00 plus $3.00 Shipping, sent check, check was cashed....no tag. Contacted aske me to send name and itemnumber did...after several more emails to him, never heard from him again. First bad experience on Ebay...thank God only a small amount, but he does sell MANY other Corvette Parts. The item number was Item number: 7948657867. His email is mztercarb@aol.com and I sent him another one. His name is AL....and I think he is in Chicago.

He is Chicago corvette.I had the same problem with two carbs last year.He doesnt even rebuild the carbs,its a place in NJ.The only way to get through is to bug the **** out of him .I think his name is Allen.

Every time a "decent" 2818-1 comes up on eBay, this guy (mztrcarb) grabs it and flips it. I'm not against anyone making a buck, but geez. I've bid on about 20 carbs and this guy always gets me at the last minute, then the same carb shows up a couple of weeks later for an opening bid of at least $200 more than the previous auction. Us little guys just can't get a break.....

What's wrong with this guy. If he's not going to come through with the part, then don't put it up for sale.

mazcarb not so bad

I have delt with al all the way from down under Australia and must say he did not let me down, purchased some 2x4 wcfb and they were sent well packed and as shown on the photograph, ordered a pair of air filters to suit and im sure they will come through.

Al Ferike of Chicago Corvette is who I thought you were talking about. I now need a better description........than just " I think his name is Al......from Chicago"

You better stop payment on what ever purchase you are making.........and let eBay know what is going on. Does NOT sound like Al Ferike from Chicago Vette Supply. He has been selling Corvette parts since the late 70's.

That is him...,its too late, he cashed the check..sent personal check. Hey. I learned a lesson and hope other people who read this think twice before purchasing from this guy. If anybody can help it would be appreciated. Ebay has been notifitied. Thanks for your comments...Collin

Is the person I sent US$230 for a pair of 2x4 air cleaners which he promised he will send as soon as they are in stock , I also purchased from him on Ebay 2x4 WCFB a few months ago and sent him US$1,800 with no problems at all, he has returned all my emails and I will call him today to see how the cleaners are going.
Will let you know the outcome and hope to clear his name and company.
