Im inches away from selling her unfortunatley.

Im dying all over town becuase of vapor lock. Im going to convert to electric fuel pump and wrap some heat reflective tape around the steel fuel lines. Why the hell did they run them across the engine block and not on the other Fn side!!! The problem seems to have been getting worse and worse but my oil and engine temps stay nice and low :confused Does an 81 have a filter thats in line next to the tank? I didnt see one when I was under it today.
If you would like to help be diagnose this I would appreciate it as well since I replaced the fuel pump 2months ago and that didnt solve the problem. If anyones ever done this any advice would be greatly appreciated becuase seriously Im about a month away from selling it. I even went as far as looking at convertible SS camaros today.
