Hi,

I am having lighting issues. When I pull the light switch halfway, the side marker and rear lights illuminate. However, when I pull the switch all the way out, the headlights illuminate, but the side marker and rear lights turn off. Does it sounds like a faulty switch?

I should also mention that the lights stopped going up. The vacuum lines under the hood are all connected tightly --- perhaps the something behind the dash or console became disconnected.... (?)

Thanks for any suggestions.

Ralph

Yup, sounds like a bad headlight switch. For the headlight-up problem, check the metal check valve and the plastic filter just downstream from the intake manifold vacuum fitting in the hose to the vacuum tank; it could be about ten different things, but that's what I'd check first.
