Well I just picked up my CE yesterday and I have found two minor problems. 1 When I put the drivers side window down sometimes it does not go back up if I open and close the door it then will go up. I think I have heard this is common. Do I need a new window motor? How much $$$

2 I have the keys that open the door when you get close to the car I just replaced the batteries. But the car does not unlock when I get close nothing happens. Also when I press the unlock button the passenger side unlocks but the drivers side just makes a noise and does nothing. And last the button does not lock the doors at all I don’t know if I am not pressing the button properly.

Problem 2 fixed I just had to turn the system on. Its amazing what you can learn from a owners manual.

Problem 2 solved:upthumbs

Problem 1???

Sounds like something loose. So when you open the door the window goes up no problem?

Don't the wires for the window motor come through the door jamb into the door and constantly get flexed there. Maybe just a broken or partially broken wire.....check this first before replacing motor. Perhaps the wires are partially connecting when you close the door???
