Anybody happen to know how many wires those have? Like power in, ground, and signal out by any chance?
Any stock ones like that? Thanks!

distributor w/remote mount coil

I have the computer controlled distributor with remote mount coil on my injected '73. It is an Accel Billitech brand, all aluminum. Very nice piece. They were stock fare on late 3rd gen F-bodys I'm told. I would've bought one from a junk yard for my application but I couldn't find one in good enough shape for the money to suite me....

I just went out and looked at mine. On the drivers side it has two connectors, one two wire conn that is red & white (power & ground) toward the front. The one in the rear is 4 wires and goes to the computer. There is a two wire connector inside the dist that the pick up coil plugs into. That makes it an 8 wire distributor as opposed to the vette style coil in cap 7 wire dist.

FWIW, I'm told that the 7 wire distributors are more reliable than the F-body style. I have burned up a few modules in mine. Could be related to my install but I can't find any problems with it. Seems they can't take the heat in my engine bay.

good luck bud..
