Switching the 74 over to electroic ignition, hopefully soon. I just ordered the 75-77 tach. Figure I will put that in as soon as it gets here, my question is will this tach be two wires, one to coil negative and one to ground? When I change the ignition to the Billet MSD with 6a box, how will it hook up to box? Do you still need the coil with the MSD system? Anyone have the MSD part numbers for the MSD 6a contol box and the non-tach drive Billet distributor?

I am so tired of that tach drive cable, replace gears, 90 degree bend.......

Thanks

I'm not sure how the tach hooks up, but I know you'll really enjoy the benefits of HEI. I would look in a MITCHELL SYSTEMS Wiring schematic for your year and the year of the replacement part and then do the nug work of what goes where. Its got to be simple- its either postive or negative!!!
