Hi all! Iam having issues with the inside of the right rear tire wearing real fast on my 95. I have replaced all 4 shocks, and the actuator on the right rear also ( as it was broken) Yep,FX-3 and all. Is this a wheel bearing issue,or camber out of adjustment? Tried to ask dealer, but was told something like drop it off,and we will look at it without you here.... Not frigging happening...Thanks in advance,Kyle.(alaskavett)

Alignment

You need an alignment, your rear camber rods have slid out of adjustment. They probably werent torqued to 187 ft lbs like they were supposed to be.But its very common for c4's.

Hey,thanks for your help on this. Ill see about getting one asap as it is eating this tire!

I'm experiencing excessive rear tire wear due to blue smoke clouds and long black streaks behind the car. It turns out to be due to right leg muscle contraction and excited howling laughter.

It must be an air-born virus as me & my rear tires are showing symptoms of the same affliction and I'm all the way over here in AZ. :L

BTW...unknown1, alignment sounds like the culprit to me too.

Hmmm.... I guess I'm just trying to turn my treaded tires into slicks.

For better traction of course. :D

I almost have the same problem except that my petal has "fingers" that seems to grab my foot and slam it to the floor.....its a intermittent problem or maybe a option from GM? I have the same results with the clouds of white/blue smoke and long black streaks. Anyone?

We're gonna have to put you guys on quarantine!:L

I don't usually light it up with the 'Vette but sometimes, you just gotta lay the smack down on someone.:L

In my case, it is an addiction to rubber fumes linked to lateral G's, whether transverse or longitudinal. I know it is NOT hereditary, tho.

:_rock :) :lou :D :crazy << the drive committee

Unknown, be aware that if the alignment does not work it could be your side yokes are worn. We waited too long before finding out what was wrong with mine and had to replace the rear end gears.

I don't have trouble with tire wear, but I do seem to go through the gas like there is no tomorrow. Chambered exhaust just sounds so sweet at WOT... :D
