I had the issue of the offensive header tube, the one that was burning my spark plug boot insulator, addressed finally, and it was done in less than half a day and less than half the cost I expected. However, now I gotta get 'em recoated. I think TPiS utilizes Jet-Hot coatings on their headers, what should I do for my TPiS headers now that we've destroyed that tube's coating?

Also, if anybody has recommendations for coatings in the Southern California, preferably in the Los Angeles area, please advise. ;)

3 days seems pretty reasonable . For 150.00 did they do the whole part or just the modified area ?

Both headers Cliff. They offer three or four different kind of coatings too; I had mine redone as before, in a high luster polish, although a satin finish and a black finish is also available. :cool
