Exhaust System for a '74??

Need some advice...my husband, Alan, is going to replace the exhaust system on his 1974 small block. He plans to get a stainless steel system but wants mufflers that generate that Corvette "throaty" sound. Any suggestions?

I REALLY LIKE my flowmasters I've been told the new muffler at Midas is pretty good sounding too, and has better performance results than the Flowmaster 40's I had put on..

If you aren't in a hurry, maybe some of the members of your club would let you guys listen to their cars.. and give you their opinions

Made a decision...

I think we've decided to go with chambered pipes. Will let you know how it sounds!! Thanks for all the advice!!
