I have a 2000 coupe with the F45 suspension and 45,000 miles. One of the back shocks has started to make a sound kind of like squeezing a drink bottle with the top lightly screwed on -- a sort of breathy squeaking sound. When I go over a good size bump I can feel the back end bouncing unevenly. I suspect that one of the back shocks is going bad. I have no idea about the shocks on the F45 option. Any suggestions on where to buy a shock for that system?

It looks like I'm on my own with this one!! :confused

I've done searches for shocks for my 2001 (non F45) and have found many places that refer to the "adjustable shocks". They are still available from many sources...they're not cheap, so be prepared.

I found a listing for a Monroe shock that is suppose to be an equal to the OEM. Thanks for the responses! I thought everyone was going to pass on this one!!

If you contact bilstein I believe they do rebuild these shocks.

You may be hearing a dry sway bar bushing. Be sure it's a shock before you blow your cash on new ones.
