Factory A/c In A 70 Lt1

Has anyone ever heard of factory a/c in a 70 LT1,according to everthing I've read on LT1s ,A/C was not put in LT1 before 1972,and then they lowered the red line to 5600.Someone I know says his friend has a 70LT1 with factory a/c, and claimes there were 50 built with a/c in 1970..could this have be installed buy dealer after car was purchesed.

There were no 1970 or 1971 LT-1s with AC. At least not from the factory.

It could easily be an aftermarket job, but there were only 280ish LT-1s made with Air and all were built at the end of the 1972 model year.
