someting wrong?????

HI there,
Lets get technical.......
The code 23 is ok, as this code will flash if you cycle the key 3 times without driving the vehicle, on and off.
As for the 32, this is for the right front shock absorber out of position. So, heres what you want to do, as a quick check.
Pop the hood, and removed the inner fender on the passenger side. Then, look at the shock, the black motor is at the top of the shock. There is a retaining clip, which holds this motor on top of the shock, remove it. Then pull the motor directly up, you may have to wiggle it a little, but it will come out. Look at the top of the shock, as this will look like a spline. If you can turn it about a half turn, and thats all, you are ok, and the motor is most likely at fault. If there is chips in the splined shaft, or you can turn it one full turn, the shock is no good, and should be replaced.
Please let us know how you make out, c4c5:hb

C4C5Specialist,

My ride control is also showing on the display. This corvette is a 92 LT-1 with FX-3. The code shows 33 besides the usual 12

Is it the same proceedure as you outlined for the other corvette here? And is it my drivers side shock?

Thanks

Hi Don,
The code 33 is for the drivers side rear shock position.
In this instance, you will have to support the tire, get underneath the car, and reomve the shock, to look at the top.
Just remember, that the spring pressure will push the spindle down, so you MUST support the tire, before removal of the shock.
And the motor will be attached with the wiring, so be cautious on removal, you must disconnect the motor, before completely removing the shock.
Besttoyou, and let us know how you make out, c4c5:hb
