Fender Alignment Question

The space or gap between the front leading edge of the door (right side) and the back of the fender is not even. The top space is wider than the bottom. The rear of the door and the rear fender is perfect. Is there away to fix this without tearing the fendaer off?
 
Mine is the same way! It's worse on the pass.side than the driver's side. My car hasn't been wrecked either so it is original. Like Vettehead Mikey said-----It's just part of the charm.
 
OK guy's my car has "charm" and I can live with that.

Mine is the same way on the passenger side.
 
Back in the day the tolerance wasent to critical ie body panel fit. And it was acceptable back then. It was said no two vettes would measure the same
