fiberglass lift off hoods

I found a extremly cheap L-88 lift off hood that has not been drilled and was wondering if with some work could it be bonded to my stock inner hood frame I know it would be alot of work but after pricing the bolt on hoods I'm still having bad dreams also after bonding one to my inner hood frame would it be as strong as the stock hood

If you are going to be bonding things anyway, why not just get a L88 scoop and bond it to your hood. They are available from Speedway motors for 70.00 or so. If you want the underside panel the only one that I have found is from Eckler's.
