I have just finished a small section of fiberglass repair, and was wondering if I need to get it gel-coated, and if so where is a good place to go. as it is only a small area.
I was also wondering if there is a special type of body filler to use with fiberglass?
what would be the best way to take off the paint on the rest of the car, but I don't want to go through the gel coat, just want to clean up some body lines and repaint?

Thanks

Drew

No need to Gel coat. Recommend you seal it with a sealer. You can buy body filler with fiberglass or cut some up and add it to plain body filler.

When I had my vette repainted several years ago, most of the car had been worn to bare glass due to previous owner neglect (can you believe they lived down a gravel road!). I used a primer-sealer and it has been just fine, even after 12 years.
