2013 Corvette production numbers released

Hmmmm--I see our 2013 GS Coupe is 1 of only 400!

C6!

C6 run were truly glory days for the Vette with undeniably superior performance at real-world prices. With a national unemployment rate of 23.4%*, low production numbers are strictly a function of the destroyed economy, not desirability of the car.

My all time favorite part of the C6 days was the intro of the Z-06. Right after the limited production Ford GT did a ~7:41 at the Nordschleife with ceaseless hype and bragging ( after launching it into a production-stopping 'do-not-drive' recall ), Chevy comes out with the standard production Z-06 and rips off a 7:42... at half the cost! That's what the Vette is all about!
Now we go onto C7 days and look forward to further domination. Cheers! :beer

Yes but of the 1088 only 897 came with the stripe.

That's right. Missed the difference the first time around. Can't see not ordering the stripe package on this car but it looks like some didn't.

Is there a way............

Is there a way to break down how many Corvettes were made that have the same color and options I have?

Not that I'm aware of.

No. GM does not keep detailed production records to that level.

Not to be a nag, but models are -

Base Coupe - 1YY07
Base Convertible - 1YY67
Grand Sport Coupe - 1YG07
Grand Sport Convertible - 1YG67
427 Convertible Collector Edition - 1YG67 (it is a convertible based on the GS chassis)
Z06 and ZR1 - 1YY87

I think that means changes to (2) column headers. But then you'll have to decide whether to group by Base/GS or coupe/convertible. Z06/ZR1 doesn't change.

Another way to look at it -

YY = Not Grand Sport
YG = Grand Sport

07 = Coupe, Steel Frame
67 = Convertible, Steel Frame
87 = Coupe, Aluminum Frame

Can you update the PDF as well for download?

new_hampster,

You're not being a nag. Thank you for pointing this out. I have a call into GM for verification. Once I get the verification from them and update the page and pdf, I'll post back here.

Are you ready for spring yet? This winter in New Hampshire has been brutal!!!!

Well, that was fast. Here's the response I just received from GM:

Rob,

The plant never talks or tracks in terms of Marketing models. YG is a Marketing designation. The plant tracks and reports in terms of Engineering models. In 2013, and for all of C6, they were all YY.
