In the words of Vader: "This will be a day long remembered"
It was a wonderful sight seeing the long, enclosed trailer pull down my cul-de-sac. Inside was the ride of my dreams, a Silver C5. And when she was finally escorted off her perch, she was a jewel under an overcast sky.
I want to thank all the CAC members who lent advice on various topics; you all played a role in the final decsion that has resulted in a grin more permanent than Jack Nicholson's at the end of "Batman". I now can say I'm a member of this elite Drivership, and it still hasn't quite sunk in...I still can't believe this baby is sitting in MY garage!
I've yet to really take her out, since I'm just now learning to drive a stick, but I did go for a spin around the block, and I can feel the power of the Force underneath me. She's a 2000 Sebring Silver 6-speed, with HUD, Selective Real Time Damping, and body side molding. The body side molding was a must; that and the manual transmission is what took so long to acquire such a C5.
Pictures soon.
