Hello fello Vetter's
I finally finished my rear sound sysyem set up and wanted to share a picture along with what I done. I replaced the factory 6x9's with new Kenwoods removed rear compartment storage frame and box, cut a piece of 3/4 same size as frame but 1" shorter on sides for easy removal to get access to jack & battery mounted a shallow mount 8" Kenwood sub along with 350 watt Kenwood amp bridged &covered with extra carpet from replacetment carpet kit. Dash speakers were replaced with shallow mount 4x6's from Kenwood also along with a new CD player. photo.jpg

I went this way so I could keep the space in the back and it was pretty easy, I got slack for using 3/4 ply wood but i like the strength aspect of the plywood as you can still put some body weight on it with no problem. I had to use a Fosgate 10" speaker grill because I liked the durability! It was really easy, sounds great, & looks great along with hides the amp. If you don't like it you can always put the storage compartment's back in, mine is a pressure fit and you can access the jack & battery with out any problems!
