Flashing digital display !!!

Flashing digital display !!! I took my vette to a garage for body repairs and the display was working fine, I collected it and it is now flashing like a Xmas tree. They admitted they let the battery die. I have my suspicions as to the reason for this malfunction but please give me your opinions as to what could have caused this?

yea this happened to me after awhile my vette stalled(90' vette) and it turned out my entire console was shot! Apparently this is nothing new, I recommend check your wiring in the dash possibly a lose connection, but if it seems to stall or "studder" at low rpm or idle get it checked out

Did you by chance replace the distributor cap? The insulator can cause this. Other than that call Gordon Killebrew for on phone diagnosis - he is the man.
