Flashing SYS Light

I bought a 94 Coupe and the 2nd owner did not know for sure,
but thought that there were keyless remotes.
1. How can I find out if they were part of the original order.

2. If these are not in use now, could this be causing my
"SYS" to flash every 20 or so seconds?

3. Is the keyless option part of the alarm system?

keyless entry is part of the alarm. SYS could be any number of things, youll need to read the codes to find out what. There are several members that can help you decipher the codes. Mine was flashing due to a weak battery, put a new battery in and it went away.

I was going to mention the same thing....you may want to check your battery. The SYS light will flash with a weak battery. You may want to check that 1st.

The PKE (Passive Keyless Entry) was first introduced in 1993 as standard equipment, so your '94 should have come with the key fob(s).

RPO for PKE is "AUO". Check your codes, a list may be under the pass/side storage compartment.

flashing sys

I replaced the factory radio and noticed after the install the sys would flash sometimes. I think i read that a cap. needs to be inline with the install harness. Dont bother me enough to tear it apart again.
