Floor Jack

Hello i have buy a floor jack 1.5 ton capacity at SEARS (craftsman) cant you tell me if is strong enough for lift my 2000 vette

That sounds strong enough to me. The whole car weighs just over 1.5 tons, so either end would be well under the capacity of the jack. NEVER get under a car supported by a jack. Use appropriate jack stands.

As long as it's low enough to get under the car it sounds fine!

Be sure to get a jack that you can remove the lifting pad on and the purchase or make a pad the fits in the slot in the C5 frame for lifting. All of the Corvette supply places sell the pad for the jack. Bill
