Fluid leak in the rear axle area

Graham, it just dawned on me that there are yoke seals on each of the half-shafts too. You might want to eyeball those areas as well. ;)

Thanks Ken. Yeah I checked those very closely because they are easy to look at. They look good. Not a drip. And no oil under them or spun around from the half-shafts. It is either a tiny bit coming out of the top or the pinion seal leaks it and then it gets on the cover peice that spins around (don't know what it is called). I've got the rest of the week off so I'll figure it out...

Are you referring to the "pinion seal dust shield." ;)

That must be it. No wonder I couldn't find it on the GM parts list. I was looking up thingamajigger :duh
