Fog lamps

On my 94 there is a button below the light switch and I was told it was for fog lamps? Is that true? If so where are they? are they there already or do I have to add them. and where do they go?

Yep, thats for the fog lamps. They are located in the front bumper.

Pick up the owners manual & all will be revealed.

ummm...turn the switch on and look at the front of your car...I don't know about 94 but earlier models you needed to have the headlight switch on.

Not in my '87 Jon; I can turn 'em on without the headlights, but you do need the park lights turned on.

At least I could before I ripped all of my wiring out! :L

(caution wise guy ahead)-->Parking lights...isn't that part of the headlight switch? :duh FYI for anyone...you can run a wire and just be able to toggle the fog lamps with the switch under the headlamp switch.

Not in my '87 Jon; I can turn 'em on without the headlights, but you do need the park lights turned on.

At least I could before I ripped all of my wiring out! :L

I know where the Fog lights are SA I just wasen't sure about the operations of them...............I thought that was the purpose of this forum????? To ask questions for people who haven't been lucky enough to own a Vette all there lives.............some of us just bought ours and don't know alot about them so we come here for questions and advise from everyone..............not to be Belittled! by some!!!!!

The fog lights only come on when my headlights are on low beam and go off when on High........

Hi Caddy-the '93 fog light switch is right below the headlight switch on mine-the head light switch must be in at least the parking light mode for them to come on-check around that area-or if you have the owners manual it will be in there-I would suggest that you invest in the shop manuals-they can help an awful lot-I use mine all the time -hope this helps Dennis
