Found 74-77 NOS Seatbelts on Ebay!!!

Wow!!! Haven't seen any of these in a long time. Someone has 4 sets (2X Blue, 1X Med Red, and 1X Brown) up for auction. These are discoed, and no one makes repros... so if you need a set...

Johan... Here is the best side view I could find. Note that I had not yet installed my rocker panels at the time of the photo. After installing the sidepipes, I could never go back... they absolutely make the car (toughness wise), and give it that fantastic side pipe sound I was looking for.

Johan,

Yes, the rocker panel must be fitted after the side pipes are installed, and must be trimmed in a few spots to clear the side pipe mounting brackets. There is a fold out template that comes with the kit... it's very easy to do with a grinding wheel or with a Demel tool.

You are correct, the pipes are Hookers. They come in 3 finishes: Chrome, Stainless Ceramic coated, and Powder Black. I found the best deal at www.barnettperformance.com . They do not have an online cataloge, but they do carry the complete kits. Mine was $900 USD. The same kit at Mid America sells for $1100!

Well, the last time I saw a set come up was about a year ago. There were a few bidders, but the bid stalled out at around 300$. The reserve was not met. If you were to have your old belts re-webbed, and re-built, it would cost you $400 from most reputable places... at least those are the quotes I got at Vette Fest this Fall, and last Spring. So... NOS ones should be worth at least that much in my book.

Oh yeah.. don't forget!! There is no way to buy reproduction ones.... they have been discontinued for quite some time.

Yeah... had to rebuild mine myself this Spring... just to get them working... but I don't know how they would hold up if I were to get in a wreck (knock on wood). So at this point, it's spend however much I need to win the bid, or get rid of the car. Word of advise... DO NOT TAKE OFF THE PLASTIC SPRING COVER!!!!

Nope... we are not competing... I'm on the red ones... they don't match my interior, but they match my paint... close enough!! At least I will be safe when I drive. I will prob have them dyed black next winter.

Yeah.. we do need em. I'm not going to quibble over 60$ and my saftey. Besides... they are easy to put in! Just gotta yank the seats.
