FrankenSport - 81 - Lots of pics

I would say in this case its not the destination but the Journey!

Awesome video :-)

That was quite a transformation! Should be inspiration for many Corvette owners, for all generations (C1-C6). :thumb

thats an incredible car! Are you a pro 'vette restorer ? Surely that wasn't done in your home garage.

Amazing atention to detail. :thumb

What an awesome Vette! Very cool video!

What type of gauges are you using?

The chassis is superb!

I am going to Carlisle for the first time this year. I will be sure to check it out!

SAVE THE :w

Thanks to all for the comments. :thumb

I'm just an Average Joe who does work out of his home garage. I use to do it for others but back to just a hobby for myself. I did all the work at home except for the paint which was done locally.

Thanks!

Pretty kickin' ride, Joe!
Looking out over your hood is almost exactly like mine, except I think mine's a slight bit higher, but the same white stripe down the middle! :thumb

Just gotta get that little speedo problem worked out now! Or has that been fixed already? ;)

Ya know, I'm really surprised that more people don't put sidepipes on the LS engines. It sounds so much better than the current exhaust setups. I've found very few exhaust setups that I really like on the newer vettes. Seems like after the C3's the sound changed along with the fuel injection and Gen-IV blocks. If I had a C5 or newer, I'd probably try to put sidepipes on it. Although that would likely cause a problem with emissions. ;shrug
So congrats to you for essentially doing just that! :upthumbs
