The bill died in committee for this session. House had passed it but the senate had mod'd it and removed the front plate article. Differences never got resolved by the end of the special session. Another year down the tubes.

I just don't understand what differences there could be when it's a 'win win' situation. But then again, this is Texas partisan voting as usual. (If they think it's a good idea or money saver, then we don't.)
