front spoiller

The rubber front spoiler and metal support are bent and cracked. I would like to just take it off, but I was wondering if it was needed to help cool the radiator or support the front area. The car still looks good without it.

Don't remove it, replace it - that air dam is an integral part of the car's cooling system; C3's are "bottom-breathers", and that piece is essential in deflecting air up into the radiator.

John is right; you need it on there to direct the air flow up to the radiator.

i have never had the lower part on my 82.i have never had a cooling problem .take it of and see what happens .
