I want to raise my 04 Back to where it was. I bought it like this but tired of hitting everything in the road. I was wondering if someone could tell me whats involved in moving that adjustment bolt i cant find anything about it.

A detailed discussion of the procedure is in the Service Manual.

In short, you lift the car, then you jack up the end of the spring to take its load off the lower control arm, then you turn the spring adjusting screw such that you raise the car.

Depending on how much the car was lowered, you may need to have the front and rear alignments reset.

HI there,

Along those same lines, YOU MUST have this procedure done on an alignment rack that allows tire slippage and movement WHILE the spring tension is adjusted.

And you must ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS realign your vehicle afterwards.

You move one thing on a Corvette spring setting, this changes your alignment.

Even when c5 allowed .5 in or 12.25mm change in trim/ride height, you can get as little as .2 camber change or .07 toe change.

And these tires are expensive, do it once, do it right and you will enjoy your Corvette.

Allthebest, Paul
