Anybody know how to remove a stuck front brake rotor?. Don't want to damage anything, heat is probably not the answer because of the bearings, any suggestions?

Are they rusted?

Usually an good soaking of WD-40 or whatever your favorite rust buster ( over night).

Then a large hammer striking around the top of the rotor where the flange for the bearing would be.. SMACK rotate 15 degrees, SMACK etc. There is a HAIR of play between the lug studs & the rotor holes.

This should loosen up the rust & other gunk that has formed between the flange and the inside back of the rotor. Take a wire brush to the studs as well, sometimes there is a small metal washer( tinnerman nut) at the base of one of the studs.

Not loose yet??!

Then a 2X4 on the back of the rotor and a good whacking mallet. Start off easy and increase as needed. ( hammering in an outward direction)
