Hi guys, I relize this forum is mostly "mods" members but I am looking for feedback and help on pricing this car, hope this forum can help. And yes I know C-4 prices are down etc. Its a 88 Z-52 with rare Charcoal metallic w/ grey leather auto matic with both tops. bone stock and all original. 37k. The car is pristine and showroom condition. I had it NCRS judged it was awarded a Top Flight in April. NCRS has invited me to bring it to Carlisle to be one of the 21 gallery cars on exhibit to promote NCRS and represent judging class 87-89. to much of a honor for a car guy not to find a way to get there. anyway this car will be there and after the show may be available. Just judging interest at this time. paint is awesome car all original right down to the tires pics available. whats it worth guys??? I would like to get into a driver Lt-4 or higher mile c-5 as this car is really to pretty to drive much... thanks for any input in advance. can do pics by email...

First off, congrats on getting Top Flight.

I'd say that your ride is worth a bit more the "average" C4 of the same vintage.. As to the question of value, NCRS just recently started judging 84-89 C4s (and now are doing 90-91 models), so we're now in what's called "uncharted waters". If it's for sale immediately after judging (and you have interested buyers), think of a number that you would find reasonable. Go back and review recent auctions (yes..B-J and look at Kruse) to see what the market is and set your price accordingly. I'd have to say depending on the actual overall score, your Flight award probably puts your ride somewhere between 15-20K, but this assumes there are more than one buyer at the event.

Good luck to you!

thanks for being the only one on this forum with any input. I am with you figure 17-18k is where I want to be. thanks for your opinion.. If it was a 67 top flight would be a big diffference in value..

Ain't THAT the truth! Midyears are bringing stupid $$$ now. Good luck! I hope you can help set the price on Flight judged C4's. :)

I would say around $16,000.00 if you found a person who wanted a Top Fight C-4 and knew what he was getting (maybe at Carlise??). An average vette buyer off the streets that just wanted a very nice C-4 probably around $13,500.00. Remember, Fall is coming and prices will surely decrease. I would get it out all of the up coming shows and put a sale sign on it. Good Luck with you LT-4 hunt!!
