I was doing a fuel injector signal wave form test on my 1988 when I noticed that one of the injectors seems to be wired backwards somewhere. On all the others I could get the signal when attaching to the striped wire (RHS of connector). On one I had to use the non-striped wire (LSH of connector).

Does this reversed connection commonly happen?
Will injectors trigger no matter which side the current is supplied to?
:confused

No, it doesn't matter. It is a simple solenoid inside the injector. One wire supplies the voltage when the ignition is on. The other connects to the ECM where the injector pluse width is controld. Here is the wiring on my '89 . They are in parallel so it doesn't matter which side goes where. Hope this helps.:Steer
