Fuel line question

Hi all,
I'm routing new fuel lines on my 69 frame.
I've seen on several installation pictures that the feed line has an extra bend between mount #2 and #3 from the tank. Why is that? Doesn't look like that in my assembly manual.

You talking about the hump in the line right at the rear differential cross member? The line should run flat along the to top of the frame until it drops down along side the frame kick-up. I'm guessing that the hump is where the line was bent into a 180* bend for shipping purposes and wasn't completely "un-bent" when installed.
