Fuel System Cleaner

I was looking at this stuff at the store the other day. There are several manufactures distributing it. Most say to add it to your gas tank at every oil change. It claims to clean the entire fuel system including the injectors, intake valves and top of the pistons.

Is there anything to this or is it just hype?

Is this similar to the clearners that are part of the additive packages in gasoline like Chevron claims?

Only use Chevron with Techron fuel additive. Anything else will eat up our injectors. I am not sure on how often to run it I think c4c5specialist said like every 10-12 thousand miles...but I am not sure. Oh run two bottles to a full tank of ags.

I try to use a fuel system cleaner once a year. I recommend BG 44K or Red Line.
